Barbeque on July 4th

On July 4th, we're going to have a relaxed barbeque at the store in addition to our normal events (Yu-Gi-Oh!, D&D, Magic, whatever). Bring by snacks if you want, or stuff you want grilled, and we'll cook 'em up for you. Limited supply of food will be on hand for people to enjoy throughout the day.

Magic Events

We hold regular Magic events at the Gambit.

FRIDAYS: Friday Night Magic at 7PM. Booster draft; $15 entry; 3 packs/player; 3 rounds; prizes based on record (3-0 get 4, 2-0-1 get 3; 2-1 get 2).

SATURDAYS: At 6PM, Constructed (Type 2). Entry $12; 4 packs/player given out as prizes.

TUESDAYS: At 7PM on Tuesdays, players choose what format to run, or just play casually.

SPECIAL DRAFT PROMOTION: We are giving out foils to the winners of any 8-person draft that's held at the store. Foils include Figure of Destiny, Ajani Vengeant, and much more. Bring some friends by, draft at the store and get rare and valuable prizes!

D&D Open Play RPGA Events

Dungeons and Dragons games open to everyone are available at the Gambit through the RPGA events we run at the store. Activity has been huge! We have RPGA Events every Thursday night at 7PM and Sundays at 1PM and 6PM. View our schedule and please RSVP at our Meetup Group and Warhorn webpage.. Each slot costs $5 per player, and that money goes into store credit which can be spent on anything in the store!

The LudoNJ Boardgaming Group (see their Yahoo group) now meets at the Gambit. This is a group of 10-20 people who come by to check out the latest in european and other odd boardgames and card games. The next two meetings are on June 27th and July 25th. They're always open to new members; drop by and play boardgames of all sorts with lots of different people!

2009 Play Fees

• $5 Weekly Store Pass: You can play in as many non-special event/tournament games as you want in the store for $5 per week. This fee goes into store credit, which can be used to purchase items in the store.
• Special Events and Tournament Games: Special Events and Tournament Games refer to games that have specific fees associated with them and/or product prize support. These include, but are not limited to, Magic tournaments, Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments, RPGA events, D&D events, and any other event that has a specified entry fee.
• The Fine Print:There's no limit to how much credit you can have at one time, however, your credit will expire at the end of every three months (June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st of this year). Store credit can be used on any non-soda, non-entry fee purchases. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Fee does not apply to anyone who has participated in a tournament or special event in the week prior.
