Heroclix events at Reality's Edge draw 14+ players according to posted event logs.

Ours draw 4-6 (and we don't charge for them...yet).

Any suggestions? Is it because it's on a Monday?

All, I know is that the rest of the gaming community (even the Magic players) at Reality's Edge is getting in on the Heroclix bandwagon. Just recently a bunch of the other "gamers" started picking up Heroclix.

I really can't explain it. It just happened.

Thanks!

Any suggestions as to how to get them to play here too?

Would it then be fair to ask your Magic players to go to the other store and play Magic?

Thanks!

Seeing as how we get a bunch of WoW players from Dark Tower to play at the Gambit and a bunch of us play at Dark Tower also, I don't think Scott would be as insulted by a bunch of "his" Magic players playing Magic somewhere else on a night he wasn't running a Magic event as you seem to think he would be.

I don't care if other people ask my players to come play in events at their store on days that I'm not running similar events. When I scheduled WoW I was careful not to conflict with other regional stores' events. When I scheduled Pokemon I was careful not to conflict with other stores' Pokemon events (and the owner of the major Pokemon store in the area has *asked* my tournament organizer there to recruit for our events here in his store in order to increase the overall community). My YuGiOh players regularly talk about their games in other stores (and I've scheduled around those, as well). D&D players and D&D minis players have groups that meet at other stores. Magic players go elsewhere to play, too.

Now: I don't want people attempting to recruit my players to play at another store *at a time that conflicts with my own similar events*. I could care less if a TO or store's player came to my Saturday YuGiOh crowd or my Monday heroclix crowd and asked if they might want to come to another store and play there on a different day? That's community building, cross-pollination stuff and benefits all stores.
