Sanctioned Friday Night Magic: Booster drafts every Friday at 7:30PM and Standard events at 6:00PM. (STARTS PROMPTLY--PLEASE SIGN UP BEFORE START TIME). There are 3 Swiss rounds. Newcomers are welcome. Prizes are awarded based on record: 3-0 gets 4 packs, 2-0-1 gets 3 packs and 2-1 gets 2 packs.. Entry fee is $15 and includes 3 booster packs. First and second get special FNM promo foils and two random door prizes are awarded.

Commander (Elder Dragon Highlander) Every Wednesday: Elder Dragon Highlander (EDH) is a multiplayer Magic format that has been gaining popularity around the world. The Gamer's Gambit is proud to have its own EDH group that plays on Wednesday nights.

EDH decks are singleton decks of 100 cards. This means that each card, outside of basic lands, must be different. The decks are controlled by a General, a Legendary creature that forms the basis of the deck. The colors of mana in the casting cost of the General determines what color cards comprise the deck.

EDH is usually played in groups of three players to five players, and is a social game. The Gambit runs a League every few weeks that encourages players to attend and gain points and free promotional cards. The next League will be starting in December, 2010.

Pretty much any day of the week, you can find someone at the store who wants to play a game of Warhammer 40K or one of many other miniatures games. With our two 6'x12'x4' game tables and the large amount of terrain we have, it's hard to blame them.

If you can't get on the group, then just show up almost any Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday and odds are, there'll be someone there to play!

Don't have an army? No problem! We have several 40K and Fantasy armies that can be rented for only $5, and we're building forces for Warmachine, Uncharted Seas, and other games as well!

D&D Encounters runs at the store every Wednesday from 6PM-7PM. This is a one-hour introductory game for people who want to experience the new D&D 4th Edition in small, bite-sized segments. It's a lot of fun for both veteran and new players alike, and it's free!
