Warhammer 40K & Fantasy At The Gambit

Throughout 2010, we're starting a new level of support for Warhammer 40K, Warhammer Fantasy and all other miniatures wargaming at the Gambit. We have two 12' long, 6' wide, 4' high tables dedicated to wargaming and a whole heck of a lot of terrain--in addition to our normal tables, we can host up to 16 simultaneous Warhammer games! The standard nights are Wednesday and Friday at 7PM and Sundays at 12PM. We'll also be hosting Apocalypse at least once monthly. Players can use store armies (Imperial Guard, Chaos Space Marines, Orks, Space Marines, Black Templars, Necrons (40K); Chaos, Dwarves, Goblins, Tomb Kings (Warhammer)) for $5/game or bring their own. Aside from that, there's no entry or play fee associated with this event (except for special events and tournaments). We've got lots of superior terrain, and food and beverages are allowed. we expect this to be huge in 2010. Join our miniatures mailing list! The list will help you find other players to play and arrange specific games.

2010 Play Fees

We feel that it's important to have a gaming community that thrives, and we're proud to be a place where anyone can come and play. To keep this community alive in these trying economic times we've had to make some changes to our gaming fee policy for 2010. Of course, we encourage you to buy your gaming products at the Gambit, and offer discounts wherever possible.
  • Free Gaming Groups: Warhammer, Warhammer 40K and Card Game players play casually for free. Tournament and special events have specific fees.
  • $5 Weekly Store Pass: You can play in as many non-special event/tournament games as you want in the store for $5 per week. If you pay to play 4 times in a month, you get a coupon good for $10 off of any purchase of $50 or more made in the following month.
  • RPGA Events: Players in RPGA events are charged $5 per table they play at. If you pay to play 4 or more tables in a month, you get a coupon good for $10 off of any purchase of $50 or more made in the following month. Judges who volunteer to run tables at the Gambit get special rewards. Additionally, anyone who participates in any paid RPGA events may play other games at the store with no fee charged.
  • Special Events and Tournament Games: Special Events and Tournament Games refer to games that have specific fees associated with them and/or product prize support. These include, but are not limited to, Magic tournaments, Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments, D&D Conventions, and any other event that has a specified entry fee.
  • The Fine Print: As you can see, we've eliminated store credit for all groups except the boardgaming club. There's no limit to how much credit you can have at one time, however, your credit will expire at the end of every three months (April 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st of this year). Store credit can be used on any non-soda, non-entry fee purchases. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Store credit may not be used to pay fees for later events.
